Youth resource centres are the core components of Dalit emancipation according to BDVS vision. It is here that the young people are able to gain opportunities for capacity building.

On 15th March 2017, BDVS supported YRCs of five Panchayats, by gifting a desktop computer with HP all- in- one printer to each in Jhajha block.

Since 2016, BDVS is given special emphasis on the capacity building of youths, organizing them to participate actively in the development of their respective panchayats. Youths have formed youth resource centers where they spend time in group study, preparing for general competition, supporting each other and discussing about the various issues of the panchayats and the possible ways of solving common problems.

The inauguration was attended by the respective panchayat Mukhiyas and other community leaders. Local leaders appreciated the initiation taken by BDVS.

BDVS was represented by our programme coordinator Mr Nayak, who encouraged youths to be energetic and perform the best for their betterment and that of the community as a whole. He focused on dalit unity through group study. He spoke on emerging need of learning computers to walk concurrently with the hi-tech world..
